A short biography
Vincent came to piercing from science. Before body modification he studied microbiology at the University of Central Florida and funeral services at St. Petersburg College, years of anatomy, physiology, biology and restorative art that shape how he works today.
He then completed a year-long piercing apprenticeship, the kind of grounding a short course can't match, and built OokySpooky around the idea that piercing is an act of trust: time on the consultation, time on the placement, time on the jewellery.
He pierces with single-use blade needles made for piercing, not medical cannulas, because they're engineered to pass through tissue cleanly and cause less trauma around it.
